Soy, soybean meal, soy flour, corn gluten meal, wheat gluten and brewers rice to name just a few of the ingredients that commercial dog food is loaded with is probably the source of most of your dogs allergies. Most of these are grains and your dog’s digestive system cannot handle grains. Even worse, the soy based ingredients can really wreak havoc on your dog’s immune system, and actually have it attacking itself. It’s very common to see a dog diagnosed with some type of auto immune mediated condition and the veterinarian has no clue why.

Most allergies are easy to fix. Stop subjecting your dogs system to substances that are irritates to it. Dogs need to be on a high protein low carbohydrate diet. That is what nature intended for them. When you get them back on a diet that is more aligned with their natural physiology you will see the difference, and they will feel the difference.
The bottom line is that plant based protein is not an acceptable protein source for your canine and is very likely the cause of his or her allergies. Your dog’s well being is worth it, not to mention how frustrating it is when your pet has skin and allergy issues. Buying product after product and visits to the veterinarian’s office with little to no results is expensive and makes you want to bang your head against the wall.
